There is always a sense of anticipation as the season’s change over. A quiet understanding that one season is drawing to an end in order that another is about to begin. Saying good-bye to one in order to welcome in another. With each new season there comes change, a change in the climate, a change in the hours of daylight, a change in the food we eat and even a change in the activities we do or don’t do.
Seasons weren’t meant to last forever. The Bible teaches us in Ecclesiastes chapter 3 that, “There is time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to uproot, a time to kill, and a time to heal, a time to tear down, and a time to build up, a time to weep, and a time to laugh, a time to mourn, and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones, and a time to gather them, a time to embrace, and a time to refrain, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear, and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love, and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.”
Though seasons change, I have learned that there is one constant that remains the same, God’s grace and abounding love for those who love Him and have been called according to His purpose.
And that’s my story, God’s abundant grace to see me through 4 different and difficult seasons in my life.
Won’t you join me as I share, God’s Words of Grace to me through a Season of Service, a Season of Suffering, along with a Season of Silence and now His Season to Speak!
Through His Words, I hope to lead you to find joy in the service God has called you too. May you remain faithful through the service He has called you to, may you be filled with endurance through the suffering, find His encouragement and love through the silence and His confidence when it’s time to speak.
May He use His own Words through the scriptures to encourage, inspire and equip you to stand firm through the season’s of life that Christ may bring to you!
